DETAIL ENGINEERING DESIGN

Vision Leads To Innovation!

Our team at DreamSpace Engineering are experts in design engineering. We have multiple years of experience which allows us to ensure your design meets your requirements! We utilize Solidworks which is a powerful 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. We also are experts in PTC Creo and Autodesk Inventor.

3D DESIGN MODELING

Visualize Your Design In 3D

Our team utilizes industry standard design software to ensure we are current with the available technology. Our standard software we use is Solidworks, however we also have expertise in PTC Creo and Autodesk Inventor as well. Working with our customer, we create 3D models and assemblies that bring the product ideas to life. This is also useful for our customers being able to show the digital design to their customer.

TECHNICAL DRAWING AND PARTS LIST

Organize The Design For Assembly

Knowing what parts are needed for your design and how to assemble them is critical. This ensures your design is repeatable and assembles correctly each time. Our engineers are experts in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, which means our customer can expect designs that will be optimized based on function, cost, and aesthetic. In order for the design to reach full maturity our engineers implement a design for manufacturability and assembly phase, which ensures the design is produced easily and assembled smoothly. Our customer can count on their technical data package to include detail drawings of parts and assemblies, along with complete parts lists with potential vendors to order parts from.

DEMONSTRATE YOUR DESIGN

Clearly Show Your Design's Function!

It's important that your end customer is able to understand and see the value you are bringing them. Our engineering team is capable of creating motion and animation videos that demonstrate the functionality of the design. We can also create high resolution photos of the digital model that will look great in any presentation.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS

Predict Your Products Performance!

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a useful tool in the design process that enables the design engineers to make educated estimates of the products performance in harsh environments. This allows us to tailor the design to exceed performance standards for our customers applications!

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS

Can Your Design Survive The Environment?

It is important to understand whether your design is able to survive in harsh environments that involve high forces due to vibration, fatigue, shock, or static and dynamic loading. Understanding the impact this has on the design and how to optimize such that the impact is minimal is the benefit that structural analysis can offer. We are able to predict the performance of your design so educated design decisions are made that fit the application.

THERMAL ANALYSIS

Can Your Design Take The Heat?

There are many environments where a design needs to survive in extreme high and low temperature. In the electronic industry, components such as Computer Processing Units (CPU) and Graphics Processing Units (GPU) by design dissipate large amounts of heat. In order to ensure these components perform at their full capacity it is important understand how to dissipate the thermal load efficiently. This is the value of running thermal analysis. Our capabilities include modeling conduction, convection, and radiation heat transfer both in steady state and transient conditions.

COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS

Optimize Your Flow Body!

Many design applications involve flow of some kind. Whether it is a pneumatic system for controlling an automation manufacturing line or analyzing the pressure drop through a hydraulic valve, properly applied computation fluid dynamic analysis (CFD) will yield detailed information to make critical design decisions. Our capability with CFD allows us to model various types of fluid, thermal conditions, flow rates, and operating pressures. We are able to provide animations that detail how the flow progresses through the component, where the high and low pressures occur, and what areas can be optimized to reduce drag and flow resistance. No matter the application we are fully capable to provide valuable flow analysis to meet your needs!

RAPID PROTOTYPING

Get A Functional Prototype In Your Customers Hands Fast!

With our strategic partnerships with the industries top machine shops, we can deliver a functional prototype that is made to your design specifications. We are ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified, as well as ITAR registered.

Our capabilities include CNC machining, milling, and turning which allows us to create parts quickly and to achieve tight tolerances for critical design applications. We have a library of materials to use for CNC machining including most varients of Aluminum, Brass and Bronze, Copper, Plastic, Titanium, and Zinc. Furthermore, we have a variety of finishes which include As Machined, Bead Blast, Chemical Conversion Coat, Anodize (Type II or III), and Powder Coat. If you have a custom material or finish requirement we can look into it and provide a quote same day!

Sheet Metal Fabrication

SHEET METAL

Custom Sheet Metal Parts!

We are fully capable of providing high quality sheet metal components our customers need. Sheet metal components consist of thin metal stock that is cut to size and bent into shape. When it comes to the cutting and forming operations we offer laser, water jet, and plasma cutting along with sheet metal punch and welding. We offer a wide variety of material such as aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. Furthermore, our finish operations consist of As Machined, Bead Blast, Chemical Conversion, Anodize (Type II or II), and Powder Coating.

INJECTION MOLDING

Complex Geometry Is No Match!

Injection Molding is a solid option when it comes to producing parts at scale. We are able to provide highly durable and precise parts that can be iterated upon to achieve an optimized design and manufacture process. We are able to use a variety of materials including plastics, elastomers and synthetic rubbers, and silicone rubber. We also offer a variety of finishes based on the material selected.

3D Printing

3D PRINTING

Complex Parts Within Hours!

3D Printing has been around the industry for a while now and continues to provide engineers with an excellent option to prototype complex designs. 3D Printing is the manufacture process of building a part layer-by-layer until the full geometry is achieved. Whether you need a function part or a scaled prototype to show customers, 3D printing is an useful manufacture process. We offer Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), and Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) to name a few. Depending on the printing process, we offer a wide variety of materials which include Rigid and Flexible Plastics, Aluminum, and Steel. Material finishes we offer as well are standard, media tumbled, color dyeing, painting, and plating.
